It Took Me a Lot of Courage to Share This
I’ve been hesitant to write about tech startups, but I decided to give it a try. I’ve had my share of experiences, which I’ll be sharing here on Medium as much as possible. To start, I’ll introduce you to my startup — though I won’t reveal the name just yet.
Our startup’s mission is to empower restaurants across Africa, helping them thrive while also providing diners with a seamless, reliable reservation experience.
After working on this venture for nearly a year, we’re finally approaching our soft launch. It’s been quite a journey, full of ups and downs. Having an idea is one thing, but bringing it to life is another, especially when you’re aiming to introduce a unique value proposition in an emerging market.
One of the things I’m especially grateful for is my founding team. Looking back, I can say that if there’s anything I’ve done right, it’s choosing the best people for this project. Their dedication and passion have made this journey worthwhile, and I genuinely enjoy working alongside them every day.
There’s so much I want to share, from research and studies to personal insights and the hard lessons I’ve learned along the way. I’ll do my best to write about these experiences over time, not as an expert, but as someone in the field— learning, growing, and supporting fellow tech founders with similar aspirations.
My hope is that these insights will resonate and perhaps even help others who are navigating the challenging but rewarding path of building a startup. Stay tuned.
